"Well that was big and surprising"

So my day (8/11) started at 10 AM today. Not bad considering the 9.5 hours of sleep I had gotten. Me and Katie Free, a friend, decided that we need to hang out and yeah. So I got ready for the day.

First, at two, I went to an interview for a job at the library. The job is basically shelving books and talking to kids and hanging up posters and such. Not a bad job. It pays well and the hours are relatively flexible. The interview itself went very well however there was a book shelving test that I believe I completely failed at. Oh jeeze. I really need this job but if I don't get it it's not the end of the world. I would like this job cause if I don't I have to find another job that is as flexible as this but oh well. I also have discovered that my friend Ellen is after the same job. Good luck to her and no hard feelings if she gets it.

Anyways afterward I noticed I had no gas left. Thank you mother dearest. My mom used my car last night to go to work and she is stupid in the way that she doesn't realize it uses a lot of my gas and doesn't take into consideration that I plan my day out very very close. Ugh, she bothers me sometimes.

So after that me and Katie went to WalMart. I'm not sure if you've been in the WalMart recently but they've switched everything around and it really annoys everybody. Apparently they're making it so that WalMarts across the globe have the same layout so no matter what WalMart you're in, it feels like home.

Katie's shopping needs were mascara, make up bag, a rug, and a lamp. How long did that take us to get? About 2-2.5 hours. Really? Really? It was still a fun time.

We decided to give Ellyn a visit and on our way we passed Lakelawn. There's an airport the airplanes use there but you cross the street to use the runway. A plane like landed in front of us and scared us both and Katie exclaimed "Well that was big and surprising." Totally a "that's what she said" moment.

So we get to Ellyn's, nothing really exciting happens there and we stay for about an hour before we decide to head back to my place. At my place, Katie discovered that Paco is nothing (and I mean nothing) to be scared about. Annoyed is more of the adjective you get around him. We hadn't eaten dinner so we made Ramein instant soup (which aren't that instant it took us 10 minutes to make them). We then sat down and watched "Superman Returns" which is actually a decent movie.

After watching it Katie and I decided that Superman is the greatest superhero alive. I mean he truely is. I understand it's because he's got all these powers but in a battle who would really win? Superman vs. Batman vs. Spiderman? Really Superman would be able to win relatively easily considering his only weakness is Kryptonite and the other two are basically human. I mean I'm not saying he's the coolest but he is the greatest in the sense that he could win almost every battle without having to fear about death all that much.

So anyway the movie got done around 11:15 and me and Katie talked for a while. Then we went out and watched the meteor shower. It was great. We saw a lot of great ones and I hope my wishes come true. We also found the Big Dipper, the snake constellation, and Cassiopea (or however you spell her name). Boy that was difficult showing the snake to Katie (which I'm not sure she fully understood it). Oh well. It was a great day.

Cheers.

Moving In....

Welcome to Cabal Fiction, the official blog of Stephen Brellenthin. So before we start here's a little intro into the mess we call Cabal Fiction.

First off, I'm a senior in high school. I like to act, sing, dance, playing music, listen to music, read GOOD books (there are only a handful of them), compose music, basically anything creative. I do a little writing here and there but nothing ever gets accomplished but I hope to write a novella before I graduate; that's my goal for this year. I'm interested in double majoring in education and theatre when I go to college (hopefully I get accepted into St. Cloud University, but if I don't it's not the end of the world). My family has a pet rat (FDR), two cats (Michael and Snowflake), and a dog (Paco). I have an older brother and two younger sisters. And yeah, I'm not sure if I need to get anymore detailed than this.

As you know I've named my blog Cabal Fiction. It basically means to conspire a lie. Cabal as a noun means a secret scheme or plot, but as a verb it means to conspire; fiction basically means to lie, therefore making my blog a conspiring lie? I don't know. I thought it made sense when I made it.

My blog will basically outline my day-to-day (maybe not that often) existance in high school and my other activities including life's drama (which is not much), rehearsal jokes and other stuff. I must go now but thanks for reading.

Cheers.
